VPS Web Hosting is the middle ground between shared hosting and dedicated server hosting. This is achieved by taking a physical server and distributing a fixed set of resources to a single website. (Unlike shared hosting where resources are shared by all.)

Dedicated Web Hosting means you have an entire computer server “dedicated” just to you! Servers can cost $5K-$20K each, so the cost of dedicated web hosting is more expensive than shared hosting.
Dedicated web hosting really is only needed by large businesses that have very high web traffic, or for businesses that need to meet regulatory compliances such as HIPAA.

We’ve chosen Cloudflare as our DDoS protection provider as they have a proven track record of stopping some of the largest DDoS attacks in history. The Cloudflare network sits between our severs and the internet. This means that when such attacks occur that our servers are not impacted, and if they are, that impact is minimal.
The reality is that digital threats are always evolving and can’t be stopped 100%. However Web7 has a great set of tools in place that will greatly reduce the chances of your site being impacted by DDoS & other digital threats.
